Account Integrations
Account-level integrations establish the authentication between Vanillaround and third-party services. These are separate from project-level integration configuration.
Jira (Atlassian)
Section titled “Jira (Atlassian)”The account-level Jira connection authenticates Vanillaround against your Atlassian account using OAuth. Once this connection is established, any project in the account can be linked to a specific Jira project.
Connecting
Section titled “Connecting”- Go to Account → Integrations
- Click Connect Jira
- Authorise Vanillaround in the Atlassian OAuth flow
- Return to Vanillaround — the connection is confirmed
Who can connect
Section titled “Who can connect”Only the account owner can manage account-level integrations. Team members cannot add or remove integrations at the account level.
Refreshing the connection
Section titled “Refreshing the connection”If the Jira connection expires (Atlassian OAuth tokens have a limited lifetime), you’ll be prompted to re-authenticate. Go to Account → Integrations and use the Refresh action to reconnect without going through the full OAuth flow again.
Disconnecting
Section titled “Disconnecting”Disconnecting the account-level Jira integration will break all active project-level Jira connections. Cards that were previously synced retain their Jira issue keys as references, but live updates from Jira will stop.
Disconnect only if you intend to stop using the Jira integration entirely or need to reconnect with a different Atlassian account.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”After connecting at the account level, go to each project’s settings to link it to a specific Jira project. See Jira Integration for project-level setup.
